Day 1: Arrival

Written at: October 23rd 2025

Well, here I'm again with another Holiday Series, this time a holiday in Greece, specifically on the island of Kos in the southeastern Aegean Sea.

But let's head back to today's morning. My mother woke up at 6’ o clock and myself at 7 o clock. Then we both packed our luggage into our car and drove first to Hamburg to then change Cars into her boyfriends car, with whom we then continued until we reched the Airport in Hannover at aprox. 12:30 pm. Therevwe Cheched-In and then got through security, where we didnt need to get our electronic devices out of our bags because, apparently its realativly new that the scanner can indeed handle it.

Then we headed straight to our Gate, our’s was B11 by the way ;-). But before that we headed towards the little shops, where we then bought water and had an our of time left until we could board the plane.

Fast-forwoard an hour: We’re getting on Board and taking off at 2:30 pm. While on the Plane I started reading the Book”Last Line of Defense-Der Angriff” which is a German Book by the Author Andreas Gruber. The Novel is about a secret Agency in the British Government, it’s use case is, well already in the Name “Last Line of Defense” in other Words, they are there when nothing else worked.

I can highly recommend the Book to anyone, who’s interested in Military and Secretive Operation Novels.

We then landed at 5:30 pm. Next, we got to our shuttle and then arrived at our hotel at 6 o'clock. Side note here: While we were driven to the hotel, which is located in absolutely nowhere, I noticed that there didn't appear to be any kind of street lamps—strange, maybe you have an answer to it.

Anyway, we then quickly ate something, and that leaves us, and to an extent me, to now: 10:51 pm, where I'm currently sitting at my laptop and writing this.

But that should now conclude my first day in Greece, and with that, goodbye and as always

Thanks for reading ;-)
